BBQ with the Anderson's

Boat races with the Schrades

Last weekend we went to the boat races up in Burley. We went with our friends the Schrades. We always have so much fun together. The kids play so well, they play tag, read books, throw rocks all sorts of fun thing. Mark grilled steaks and brats. They were yummy!
Jennifer had been telling me about this great park in Burley. I think it's called Story Book Park. It is huge! The kids loved it!

As you can see the kids had fun. I bet your wondering where the pictures of the boats are... I didn't get any! Yes it's true, we went to the boat races and I didn't even take one picture of the boats. Nice job Kim.

Sawyer riding a skateboard

At open gym on Friday, Sawyer stole one of the boys skateboards like always and wouldn't put it down. Mark had been thinking about ways to safely teach Sawyer how to ride a skateboard down a hill. He has become so comfortable stepping onto the board, like the big kids, it was time to take the next step. We tried a couple different slopes but they didn't hit the spot. Then Mark had a genius idea!!! We put a wedge mat under the floor. That way if he fell he didn't get hurt. It was a great idea! Watch and see how great he did

So what do you think? He's not even two yet! We think it is pretty amazing. The best part of it all is how much he loves it. He is a natural!

Happy LATE Father's Day!

On Father's Day we went to brunch with Josh and Ariel. We had such a wonderful time visiting . Ariel seems to be happy but very busy. Josh is always busy being a SWAT officer and taking care of Aries. We had a wonderful brunch with both of them. Hopefully next time Jackson. Jake, and Miranda will be there.

We had so much fun on Father's Day visiting with the family. Now it is time for everyone to come up and visit us. We love you all so much!

Miranda and Landen

On Sunday while Sawyer and I were at Mia's blessing, Miranda came over with Landen. Mark was helping Miranda pick out a grill for Todd for Father's Day. Landen is the youngest of 6 and is so lucky to have such a great family. We hope Todd loved the grill. He will have to cook the next time we are down.

A busy day

This morning Sawyer woke up and immediately started practicing his skateboard tricks. It is so funny! We can't seem to get this board out of his hands. He drags it around the house and when he can't find it he searches for it. Here he is practicing!

Then we headed to the Cleveland Zoo. Mark and I took Sawyer last year with Haley and Ali. This year the Gorilla's were more photogenic.

Here are Mitch and Davis in front of the Gorilla's. Sawyer and I in front of the Gorilla's. At least you can see one of the Gorilla's!Hillary pushing Ali and Davis up the hill. Sawyer is running up the hill in the background.

Hillary, Davis, Me and Sawyer at the Giraffe's. As you can see the boys couldn't keep their eyes off of them!

Aren't the boys so PRECIOUS! They sat together all day making the cutest facial expressions at the animals. For a long time they kept giving hugs to each other. Haley has some great photos of them.
We definitely got our exercise pushing these strollers up the monster hill. I could do that everyday!
Davis walking in the front gate!

Mitch and Sawyer make a dash for the animals!
After the zoo it was time for Mitch's baseball game. He is AWESOME! Sawyer and Davis sat by the fence and cheered him on. GO MITCH!
Ali taking care of the boys. She is such a great cousin. Thanks Ali!

We had a very busy day today but had so much fun. I can't wait to see what great pictures Haley has to post. We love you daddy and can't wait to see you tomorrow.

Cleveland update

Today was a day that was supposed to be full of sports. Mitch had basketball for 2 hrs, then both Mitch and Ali had baseball games in the evening. We couldn't go into the city so we played around the house. This morning we took all the kids for a walk. I pulled the wagon with Riley in it (Haley nannies 3 kids). Hillary had Davis, Ali had Sawyer and Haley had Addison and Aiden. Sawyer was so funny, we were walking in a line and he kept saying Choo Choo!
When Mark and I came last year to visit we fell in love with Mitchell's Ice Cream. Tonight after dinner we stopped in for a snack. It was so YUMMY! We had mint brownie yogurt.

Haley took this cute picture of Sawyer laying in the chair

Haley and I just hanging out!I do have more pictures of today but they are on my phone. When I figure out how to post them I will put them on. Tomorrow we are headed to the Zoo. I can't wait! Sawyer loved it the last time. Now that he is older I'm sure he will love it even more. We love you Daddy!!!

We have had a very busy week with not much blogging. Katie and Ryan blessed baby Mia, Miranda came over and spent a couple hours with Sawyer. I have some great pictures of both occasions but for now I am in Cleveland visiting my sister Haley. When we get home I will post everything from the past week. I really wanted Mark to see what is happening here in Cleveland. We can't wait to see you on Friday! We love you!!!

Sawyer is showing off doing forward rolls for everyone.
Mitch, Ali, and Sawyer playing outside.
Hillary and Davis came to Cleveland also. It is their first time here. We are so glad they came with us. Davis is a little under the weather but such a great little guy! We hope you feel better soon!!!

Sawyer is playing on the skateboard, Davis is getting out of the way.

Hillary, Davis, Mitch and Sawyer playing in the backyard. As you can see Sawyer was showing off his skateboarding skills.....
Hillary and Davis playing kick ball. FYI Davis has an arm you cant believe. He is definitely going to be a professional ball player of some sort.
I will continue to update over the week. Thank you Haley and Brandon for letting us invade your house. We always have so much fun here. Mark, I can't wait to see you on Friday. We love you and miss you!!!
