What can I say but working for an airline has many perks. A couple weeks ago, Mark and decided we wanted to go to Italy while the gym was closed for summer break. The only problem was Sawyer didn't have a passport. With a little research and a phone call we discovered you can get a passport in one day if there is a real need for one. We were going to fly to San Fransisco but they were booked, so we changed our flight to Seattle. Did I mentioned we decided to do thisl on a Tuesday and flew to Seattle on Wednesday? Crazy but awesome! The day worked out perfect. We left Pocatello Wed morning at 6:20am and arrived in Seattle 10:30-11:00am. Our appointment was at 12 but we got in early. There is a public train system that takes you from the airport right to downtown Seattle about 3 blocks from where we needed to be. Once we talked to the people about the passport and they approved it they told us to come back at 3pm to pick it up. We spent the early afternoon down at the Worf, had lunch and enjoyed the beautiful city. After a couple hours downtown we headed back to pick up the passport. Once we had the passport we headed back to the airport for our flight home. What a great day! Everything went smooth and the passport was in our hands. Italy here we come!!!

Sawyer riding on the train to downtown Seattle.

Well Sawyer slept most of the day. He didn't see much on his first trip to Seattle but I'm sure we will be back soon.

How cute is this picture!!! Sweet boy!!!
