Christmas morning

Christmas morning 2011!!!!!

Sawyer didn't wake up on Christmas morning like most kids do. He slept in until 9:00am!!! Can you believe it?! He was so excited to go to bed, he couldn't wait for Santa to finally come. So when morning finally came, we thought for sure he would be up at the crack of dawn. But no! He slept in then woke up ready to open presents and spend the day together as a family. It was AWESOME!!!!

Stockings are always my favorite. You just never know what might come out of a stocking!!!!
Sawyer was so much fun this year! He is at the perfect age for true excitement and pure joy in everything going on around him.
Daddy was really excited about the socks that were in his stocking!!!
A new spiderman hat and batman sweatshirt!!! What more could this little guy ask for?!!!
Guitar stand! Sweet!!
Time for a gift for daddy. Sawyer gave Mark the most precious hug and kiss as he gave him our present. It was a moment I will never forget!
The Science library was a major hit! Sawyer couldn't believe Santa new how much he would love these books. I highly recommend them!
To fit in with the rest of the superhero items, a spiderman pillow was a definite necessity.
He was really excited for his guitar picks.
Papa and grandma Jan sent up a package for all of us. Sawyer found a new favorite toy. He loves how these dogs build on top of each other. They are great!!!
Who doesn't love money for the piggy bank!!
One of my favorite gifts he received was this antique airplane. He loved flying it around the room. He would make the sounds, at all different speeds. It was amazing!
This just explains it all. Fly The World!! Just as this little guy does!!
Grandma Taunnie gave Sawyer this Hometown Heroes house. Thank you so much grandma!!! The grin on his face says it all. Great choice!
Once the presents were done, it was time to get ready for church. We got Sawyer ready with just enough time to play with toys for a few minutes before we had to go.
Silly boy! He was such a trooper getting ready for church. He was so willing to stop playing with his toys and do what was really important.
Doesn't he look handsome!!! I can't say it enough!!! I love this little guy so much!!! He makes his mom and dad so happy!!!
What a wonderful Christmas day!!! It was really nice being at our own home, just the 3 of us. No hustle or bustle, just enjoyed each others company, truly feeling the importance of family and what Christmas is all about. The birth of Jesus!!!
